Robin Hood 2010 Remake and Letters to Juliet to Hit Cinemas on May 14

Two of my most awaited movies are set to hit cinemas on Friday, May 14, 2010, the action-adventure remake of the Robin Hood and the romantic comedy Letters to Juliet.

Let us discuss first the return of the legendary Robin Hood. Robin Hood is a legend known as the Prince of Thieves, an outlaw who help the poor and the needy. He is famous for his prowess in bow and arrow. Basically, there are hundreds of TV series, films and other form of media production that tells the legendary pursuit of this legendary hero. One of the most notable among all is the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves movie made in 1991 which stars Kevin Costner.

This 21st century let us all welcome the newest portrayal of the famous bow-wielding hero/outlaw. The upcoming Robin Hood 2010 version would depict the older and bloodier version of the Robin Hood. The movie stars the multi-awarded actor Russell Crowe and directed by Ridley Scott.

The Robin Hood 2010 deviate from wearing the Robin Hood’s signature green butt-hugging pants, which on my opinion very fitting to the tone and look of the Robin Hood 2010movie. It gives a brand new different outlook on the Robin Hood persona. Although, this had get some bad review from the traditionalist Robin Hood fans but on my opinion is very fitting to the tone and look of the Robin Hood 2010 movie.

Our next stop in the box-office is upcoming romantic-comedy film Letters to Juliet starring the beautiful Amanda Seyfried. The Letters to Juliet is a movie that tells the story of love that could last a lifetime and finding true love in your most unexpected moment. Letters to Juliet tells the enchanting story of encountering new sparks and rekindling old flames. It is directed by Gary Winick.

Robin Hood 2010 and Letters to Juliet are set for a wide release in major theaters in United States on May 14, 2010.
