The Proposal by Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock is definitely back on the silver screen with The Proposal. After her long absence in the romantic-comedy genre Sandra is back with Ryan Reynolds for another heartwarming and spine-tickling comedy. The Proposal is set to premier on US theaters on June 19, 2009. The movie is directed by Anne Fletcher.

Over the years Sandra Bullock made her mark on the romantic-comedy genre with her blockbuster movies like Miss Congeniality 1, Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous, Two Weeks Notice and many more. Her quirky wit and snorting laugh have somewhat like been embedded in Sandra Bullock’s character. On the other hand her co-star Ryan Reynolds has been known in action movies like X-Men Origin: Wolverine where he plays the role of Wade Wilson/Weapon XI.

The Synopsis of The Proposal:

When high-powered book editor Margaret faces deportation to her native country Canada, she declares that she's actually engaged to her unsuspecting put-upon assistant Andrew, whom she's tormented for years. Maggie actually is a short description of boss from hell. She is ruthless, selfish, driven, and tactless. Andrew agrees to participate in the charade, but with a few conditions of his own. They have to meet his quirky family in Alaska and the always-in-control city girl finds herself in one comedic fish-out-of-water situation after another. With an impromptu wedding Margaret and Andrew reluctantly vow to stick to the plan despite the precarious consequences. Unfortunately, the government is understandably suspicious, and so Justify Fullthe two fake lovers must embark on a humiliating charade in order to make the marriage seem legitimate.
